Of the businesses that responded to the West Devon Business Survey 2002 (509 out of 2594) over half (53%) were aware of the Business Information Point. 57% of those who were aware had used it. Two thirds (62%) of those who had used BiP considered the service to be good; less than 2% considered the service to be poor.

BiP’s success in delivering business support can be attributed to having knowledgeable staff who are easily accessible, and regular newsletters about latest initiatives.
