| EC6.9 Adequacy of business meeting and conference facilities | |
|
|
Business
meetings typically involve up to fifteen people and possible venues in Tavistock
include the Brentor Room at West Devon Borough Council offices, the Rundle
Room in the Town Hall, the Ordulph Arms or the Bedford Hotel. In the local
area, several hotels are able to provide a small meeting room and village
halls are also used for business meetings.
Tavistock Town Hall is large enough to accommodate conferences of up to 250 people. Notwithstanding
the range of existing facilities, the Federation of Small Businesses has
identified a demand for a purpose-equipped business support centre which
would be both affordable and accessible for the many micro-businesses
in the area. |
