Click for more about Health Check EN1.2 Focal points

The main focal point is Bedford Square but people gather elsewhere for different reasons, some more purposeful than others. Common meeting places include:

  • The Meadows (young people sometimes congregate in Bandstand)
  • Old Peoples’ Rest Room in Duke Street (and outside on sunny days)
  • By the schools (at each end of the school day)
  • At the markets

‘Make use of Square every Saturday.’
