| EN3.4 Historic commercial links between town and country | |
Historic commercial links between town and country are most evident in the mining heritage. A particularly strong reminder is at the Wharf by Tavistock Canal where ores were loaded onto barges. From the farming tradition remain different market buildings, of which
the Pannier Market and cattle market are still in their original use
today. |
