| T1.3 Improvements planned for local/regional highways | |
There are plans to rebuild the road junction by the George Hotel in Plymouth which should reduce peak-time journeys into Plymouth. Elsewhere, road safety improvements should result in fewer accidents and the following schemes are programmed to take place in 2004 – 2005:
In addition,
about £1.3M is allocated for maintaining
the local area highway network and much of this is aimed at reducing
the proportion
of roads that have a skidding resistance deficiency. |
