The last number 83 departure from Tavistock to Horrabridge, Yelverton and Plymouth is at 2255 every weekday including Saturday. The last bus from Plymouth to Yelverton, Horrabridge and Tavistock is at 2345 every weekday including Saturday.

There are late buses on Friday and Saturday nights from Tavistock to the following places: Gulworthy (2225), Bere Alston (2319) and Bere Ferrers (2319).

Except for the services above, the last bus to all other villages runs before 8.00 pm so many social activities have to be arranged around a car or taxi ride.
